Lovćen and the Njegoš Mausoleum

Lovćen is the mountain that gives Montenegro its name, and its national park crowns the range directly above Kotor. At the summit sits the mausoleum of Petar II Petrović-Njegoš, the poet-prince who shaped the country, reached by a long stairway and rewarded with a panorama that on clear days stretches from the bay to the lake.
