Lake Skadar covers 370 km² and spans the Montenegro-Albania border. It holds 280+ bird species, including Europe's largest Dalmatian pelican colony. Water depth reaches 60 meters in some spots.
The lake feeds from underground springs like Karučko oko. Water temperature hits 25-26°C in summer. Fish species include carp, bleak, and eel.
