All tours are private and depart from Rijeka Crnojevića with Captain Dusko. Each price buys the whole boat for your group.

Per Tour, Not Per Person

This is the key difference from a shared group tour. These prices buy the whole boat for your group, not a single seat. Two people or eight pay the same tour price, so the cost per head drops as your group grows.

A shared group tour charges per seat, often around €15 to €25 each, on a larger boat with other parties. A private tour costs more in total but gives you the boat, the route and the captain's time to yourselves. You can compare every route on the tours page.

What the Price Includes

Every private tour price covers:

• The private boat and Captain Dusko as your guide
• Life jackets and safety equipment
• Refreshments on board
• Access to the reed channels, lily fields and hidden spots
• The river canyon section before the open lake

The one cost added separately is the national park entrance fee of €5 per person. This goes to the park, not the operator, and applies to every visitor on the lake. It is never bundled into the tour figures above.

Why Booking Direct Costs Less

Booking platforms add a commission to the price you pay, often 20 to 30 percent. Booking direct with Captain Dusko on WhatsApp removes that markup, so the same private tour costs you less. You also get to ask questions, confirm timing, and adjust the route before you commit.

Is a Private Tour Worth It

For most visitors, yes. The boat stops where you want, slows for wildlife, and waits while you swim or photograph. You are not sharing the space or the captain's attention. For a couple or a small group who came for the lake itself, the difference in experience is large for a modest difference in price. For the cheapest possible seat, a shared group tour is the budget option, though it skips the river canyon.
